Ecology Of Care returned to Unsound 2023 with a panel discussion that introduced the concept of neurofuturism through a critical neuroqueer lens. At a time when emerging technologies – including AI – are growing without regulation, we discussed the neurodiversity and accessibility movement. In what ways are these technologies biased, or used as a tool of oppression towards neuroqueer individuals and other marginalised communities? The discussion also explored technological solutions with regard to accessibility, as well as how we can become active participants in the creation of more inclusive ethics and regulations. In person and pre-recorded participants of this hybrid discussion included Agat of the Neuroqueer collective in Poland, Pelonomi Moiloa, David Gray-Hammond and Yonah Welker.

We are getting final permissions for the video archive of this discussion, and will post it here as soon as we are able to :)
