Ecology of Care returned to Horst Arts and Music Festival 2023 in collaboration with Zoë Beery as Collective Care; we again worked alongside Belgium’s Safe ‘n Sound, and were led by the amazing & indefatigable Erika from Leda Collective. Our large team roamed the grounds during all opening hours, and tended to guests in need of assistance; from providing a calm presence, referring extreme cases to first aid and prevented any potential escalations while helping everyone feel safe. We also had our own central zone in the festival where we welcomed folks in all states to be cared for, and included a grounding movement workshop on the final day that was led by the always awesome Soraya Candido of Studio Arlo.
